Elizabeth (Florio) Capurso, 92, formerly of West Warwick, died at Luke Haven Nursing Home in Venice, Florida. She was the wife of the late Matteo Capurso. Born in Fall River, MA, she was a daughter of the late John and Josephine (Pastore) Florio and stepdaughter of the late Anna Maria (DiPalma) Florio.

Mother of Lena “Lea” Beattie and her husband, Richard of Venice, Florida and John Capurso and his wife Sheri of Waterford, Wisconsin. Sister of Domenic Florio and the late Michael, Joseph, Americo, Raymond and Horrace Florio and Martha Cubellis. Grandmother of Jonathan and Mariah Capurso, Richard, Jeff, and Glenn Beattie and Ann Marie Scotti. Great Grandmother of eleven.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, December 5, 2008 at 11:00am in St. Gregory The Great Church, 360 Cowesett Road, Warwick. Burial will be private. Calling hours respectfully omitted. Gifts in her memory to the Alzheimer\'s Association, 245 Waterman Avenue, Providence, RI 02906 would be appreciated.
