Robert F. Platt, 48, of West Hollywood, CA passed away Friday at his home.
Born in Providence, He was the son of William I. and Dorothy M. (Kelly) Platt of Riverside. Besides his parents he leaves 5 sisters, Patricia H. Platt of Middletown, Maryann Murphy of Barrington, Kathleen M. West of Coventry, Rosemary Platt of Attleboro, and Alice K. Haynes of Barrington. 2 brothers William M. Platt and David J. Platt both of East Providence.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside on Thursday at 11 AM. No Calling Hours. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory to St. Brendan Church will be appreciated. Burial will be private. Information & Condolences visit www.trainorfh.com.

My condolences to your family. I worked with Bob at the SEC although in the Seattle office. I just heard about Bob's passing. I kept in contact for several years after he left the SEC but had lost contact in the last several years. While I know he went through some tough times I always found him to be an intelligent and competent coworker and friend. I and a number of my coworkers that knew and liked Bob are very saddened by his passing.
