IAVARONE, ELEANOR "Helen" 95, of Hazelwood Road, Glocester formerly of Providence, RI passed away Monday April 6, 2009 at the Greenville Skilled Nursing Home. Born in Providence a daughter of the late Beneditto and Regina Marie (Fusco) Tartaglia. She was the wife of the late Louis Iavarone.
Helen was a jewelry worker for Ronci Mfg. Co. She is survived by her son Richard L. and wife Catherine J. Iavarone, her daughter Elaine E. and husband Peter F. Shaw. She was the sister of Albert Tartaglia, and the late Anthony and Carmella Tartaglia, Margaret Macaree, Rose Spencer and Angelina Cilius. Grandmother of seven, great grandmother of ten and great great grandmother of two.
Her funeral will be held Thursday 9:00 a.m. from "WOODLAWN" Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Avenue Cranston, RI with Funeral Liturgy at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Providence. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket, RI. Calling Hours Wednesday 4-8 p.m. www.WoodlawnGattone.com
