CICCONE, ANNA 95, passed away Thursday April 16, 2009 at Cherry Hill Manor. She was the wife of the late Joseph Ciccone. Born and raised in Providence a daughter of the late Giovanni and Carmella (Rainone) Rainone, she later resided in East Providence.
Mrs. Ciccone worked for various jewelry companies and retired from Trifari at age 79.
Anna is survived by two sons; Frank R. Ciccone and wife Jean of CT, Ronald W. Ciccone, Sr. and wife Virginia of New Hampshire. She was the sister of Leo Rainone and wife Anna of Cranston, Gloria Rossi of Cranston and the late Michael, Etta and Cora. She was the beloved grandmother of Ron, Kerri and Frank and great grandmother of four. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 8:45 a.m. from "WOODLAWN" Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Avenue Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Spruce Street, Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Calling Hours Sunday 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions to Beacon Hospice 1 Catamore Blvd. East Prov.,RI would be appreciated.
