Ann “Annette” H. Faerber, 96, passed away peacefully at the Forest Farm Healthcare Center in Middletown on Friday, April 17, 2009. Born in Newport, RI on June 21, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Anna (Smith) Faerber.

Annette graduated from Rogers High School and Boston University. She was part owner of the Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Newport. She was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Church in Newport for many years until she moved to Portsmouth. Annette was also a longtime member of the Mosaic Club.

Annette was the beloved aunt of Regina Shers and her husband Allen of Portsmouth, RI, Jane O’Neill and her husband Barry of Portsmouth, RI, and Margaret Phelps of Newport, RI.

She was the sister of the late Louis Faerber and John Faeber, both formerly of Newport, RI.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2009, at 10:15am in St. Barnabas Church, E. Main Rd. Portsmouth. Burial at St. Columba Cemetery, Brown’s Ln, Middletown. Visitation will be held prior to the Mass in St. Barnabas Church from 9:45-10:15am.

Donations may be made in Annette’s memory to St. Barnabas Church, 1697 E. Main Rd., Portsmouth, RI, 02871.
