Mary Agnes Delehanty, 88 died Wednesday at Coventry Health Center, Coventry.
She was born in Fair Haven, VT, a daughter of the late Lee M. and Margaret (McGinley) Delehanty and the foster daughter of Clara L. M. Davis.

Miss Delehanty received her degree as a Registered Nurse from Pawtucket Memorial Hospital School of Nursing where she worked for three years before joining the Army Nursing Corp during WWII. She served at the 174th General Hospital in Normandy, France. Miss Delehanty retired as a Nursing Supervisor at South County Hospital for 30 years.

She is survived by her nephew Michael Delehanty, his wife Tracy and their children Stacey and Patrick.

Funeral will be from the Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home and Crematory, Friday at 8:30am followed by a service with full military honors at the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery Chapel, Exeter at 9:30am. Information and condolences at www.carpenterjenks.com.
