Pawtucket ~ Margaret A. (Schoenfeld) Sweers, 87, of Bucklin Street, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2009. She was the beloved wife of the late Frederick Sweers. Born in Pawtucket, a lifelong resident of the city, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Elizabeth (Wunschel) Schoenfeld. Margaret was a secretary and receptionist at the Fuller Packaging Company for thirty-five years until retiring in 1989; she was previously employed at the Hemphill Manufacturing Company. She was a member of St. Matthew-Trinity Lutheran Church where she was a past-president of the Ladies Aid Society; former Financial Secretary; former Sunday School teacher and a former member of the choir. She was the devoted sister of the late Elizabeth K. Marquis, Paul Schoenfeld and Otto Schoenfeld. She leaves seven nieces and nephews, Pauline Grigg of Michigan, Judy Potton, Lorna Arand, Sally Wellnitz, Allen Schoenfeld all of Wisconsin, Beverly Hahn, David Schoenfeld both of Colorado and several cousins. VISITATION at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., followed by Services at 11:30 a.m. in St. Matthew-Trinity Lutheran Church, 690 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Interment will follow in the family lot at Oak Grove Cemetery, Pawtucket.
